To access Settings, click on your name located at the bottom left corner of the Payload dashboard, and then select Settings.
Use Settings to manage the following areas:
Account Profile
- Name: Your Profile name
- Default Industry: Your business's primary MCC/SIC category
- Custom Logo: Add a company logo, which will display on Payload-generated receipts, invoices, and payment links.
User Profile
- Your Name
- Phone Number: This number is your personal phone number that will be used for TFA (Two-Factor authentication) when logging into Payload.
- Email Address: Email address used to login to Payload.
- Password: Your Payload password.
- Two Factor Authentication is enabled by default.
API Keys
- Use API Keys to integrate Payload with third party platforms.
Users & Access
- Add additional users to the dashboard. How do I add users to the dashboard?
Processing & Billing
- Card Processing, Bank Account Processing, Convenience Fees, Transaction Limits, and Billing Options are mainly used for internal purposes and can be disregarded.
- Pricing Defaults is the set pricing at your profile level. Processing Accounts added through the dashboard will take on these pricing settings.
- Statements: View your Payload processing statements here.
Emails & Notifications
- Manage your Customer/Client notifications
- Send customer receipts by default
- Send receipts with a PDF copy as an attachment
- Send Invoice PDF: If you are using Payload Invoicing, enabling this setting will send Payload's version of the invoice PDF to the client as an attachment on receipts and payment requests.
- Send payment requests for invoices: If you are using Payload Invoicing, enabling this setting will automatically send a payment request to the client once an invoice is published.
- Timezone for receipts: Set the timezone that will display on payment receipts.
- Manage User Notifications
- Payload dashboard users can be subscribed to a wide array of payment alerts and notifications. Here is a list of available payment alert categories
- Other Notifications
- Send processing account status update emails: Enabling this setting will send a notification when a Processing Account application changes status.

- Leverage our SDKs and developer toolkits to streamline your platform integration effort.
Features & Add Ons
- Activate any of our out-of-the-box payment tools and modules.
- Google Pay and Apple Pay: These settings are enabled by default when card payments are activated for your account. Your clients can pay you using either of these options.
